959ML | Shovel Logger Directional Feller

The 959ML Shovel Logger/Directional Feller with its John Deere PowerTech™ 9.0L diesel engine delivers low total fluid consumption and high reliability. The 959ML Shovel Logger/Directional Feller can be factory configured with a directional felling head or a grapple and live-heel boom for shovel-logging applications designed specifically to handle steep slopes and other challenging conditions. Large operator cab includes upward viewing skylight and downward viewing window for awareness of challenging terrain.

U7 undercarriage

The M-series undercarriage is purpose built to handle severe forestry applications while maintaining maneuverability, especially in thinning operations. The track frames are shaped to deflect debris while also providing strength and stability.

The expansive leveling envelope tilts up to 26-degrees forward for excellent steep-slope operation. Combined with a long and wide undercarriage, the leveling system maximizes performance in challenging terrain.
